The short version.
goalpal does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. There are no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. Everything you create in goalpal — your goals, tasks, completions, and notes — lives in a local database on your device. We have no access to it, and neither does anyone else.
The long version.
Data we collect
None. goalpal does not have user accounts. We do not have any servers that store your data. The app does not contain analytics SDKs, crash reporting, advertising frameworks, or tracking pixels.
Data stored on your device
goalpal uses a local SQLite database stored in your app's sandboxed container. This database holds your goals, tasks, completion history, and any notes you write. iOS protects this data using its standard sandboxing — no other app on your device can read it. When you delete the app, the database is deleted with it.
iCloud and backups
If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, your iPhone may include the goalpal database in your encrypted device backup. This is between you and Apple — we have no involvement and no access.
Network requests
goalpal makes no network requests. The app functions identically with the device in airplane mode.
Third parties
None. We do not use any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs.
Children's privacy
goalpal is rated 4+ and does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear here with a new "Last updated" date. Substantive changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
